| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Some of the strange humor aside, that is one wicked monster these guys have to go up against... We're heading into the conclusion pretty soon. Not sure how I feel about the music used this episode. It made the action scenes look like an anime music video. |

| So, they've travelled back 2000 years, and Mugensai II has transformed into some giant thing! They all managed to defeat those warriors a second time, and now they're off to defeat Mugensai II/Hijikata, although I don't know how they'll beat something so giant, but hopefully they'll find a way, and get back to their own time. |

| The fights with the commanders were a let down, I expected more than slashes. RIP Ranmaru, you were pointless until the end. I think Hijikata might be saved rather than killed, or maybe he could sacrifice himself. |

| SO...with that is happening, it's ONE BIG MESS. Hijikata a.k.a Mugensai in the new zone, controlled by the chronometer... Sakamoto with the chronometer itself (but to no effect)... Who and what is happening? @w_i_t_d when I saw the "Great God" Susanoo, dat castle breakdown transition is like low-budget Transformers, with the final mecha product being Eva like, other than that LMAO feeling, in my heart, already knew that this is the "epic" finale of a letdown, ideas stretched pass the limit. @SmolOwl21 there isn't any ideas to begin with. The whole series started episodic, matching elements suitable with big loopholes as the continuation. @Stark700 this episode incorporates the OP (extended) song, and similar feelings. Very boring and plain action. So..."All the world's a stage, let the men (without women, exception of Ranmaru) play plays." The episode that KILLED all the momentum of the "Crisis", not that it's decent to begin with. When you thought that you have killed the bosses, the "boss rush" mode is reminiscent of the end, similar to the game adaptation (I guess). All that's left...is to finish the last episode, oh well. |
